Powell River Housing & Shelter
This project will provide permanent complex care and supportive housing, as well as a 20 bed shelter for individuals at risk of homelessness in Powell River, BC. This project includes a commercial kitchen, amenity spaces, and an on-site clinic. The site is located within the Tla’amin Nation—RHA has been in conversation with the nation to represent some architectural vernacular in the building through materiality and abstracted forms of traditional long houses. Outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully designed by Land Affairs.
